Listen up, PlayStation 5 owners: you’re about lose the chance to play classic PS4 games for cheap. Sony has decided to discontinue its PlayStation Plus Collection. Sony launched the PlayStation Plus Collection in 2020 to encourage new PS5 owners to sign up for PlayStation Plus. The PlayStation Plus Collection was an added bonus to a PlayStation Plus membership in 2020. It included a list of exclusive PS4 games. All good things have to come to an ending. Sony announced in February that it would stop offering the PlayStation Plus Collection on Tuesday, May 9, 2019. Sony announced in February that the PlayStation Plus Collection would no longer be available as of Tuesday, May 9.
The good news is that a PlayStation Plus membership will let you keep these games for now. You can play these games as long as your PlayStation Plus subscription is active.
According to IGN there are 19 games currently in the PlayStation Plus Collection. This includes 10 Sony IPs and nine third party games.

Persona 5, was once part of Sony’s collection. However, it was removed in May last year.
You can choose the cheapest PlayStation Plus plan to try out these games. You can still play some of these games if you don’t make the deadline. These include Bloodborne, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (also known as Resident Evil 7 Biohazard), Batman: Arkham Knight (also known as The Last Guardian), God of War, Uncharted 4 and Fallout 4 if you upgrade to the Extra or Premium subscription level. Subscribe to the Essential plan to get all 19 games in the Collection.
Before Sony’s May 9, deadline, you can claim PlayStation Plus Collection Games.
Open PlayStation Store and select Collections. Scroll down until you see PlayStation Plus Collection. You can also find the PlayStation Plus Collection by scrolling down to the bottom. You’ll have to claim the games individually in order to be able to play them after May 9. Select each title and add it to your library. Downloading them is not necessary right now. You can do it later.
